This is an example of the use of labels for a candy buffet. The labels can be a decorative part of your candy buffet, while providing information about the type of candy that is in the container at the same time.

One of the reasons to use labels is to differentiate candies that are the same color from each other.  Although cherry and strawberry may both be red, they have a different taste.

You might also consider having some sugar free alternatives of candy for your diabetic guests or for those people who are on a diet and are cutting down on sugar.  Be sure to label the sugar free items as such.

If you choose to have a candy buffet with old fashioned types of candies, it will also be part of the nostalgia to label each candy with its proper name.
